Balboa Beach, C.A. – Angela & Omar – Modern As Tomorrow

A 1st date is supposed to give you chills and when it’s over, make you long for all the moments that you shared.  Not this date!  Angela agreed to go on a date with Omar, but she unwillingly had to cancel because her sister was on her way to give birth to her 1st child (Angela’s 1st nephew). Of course this sounded plain crazy to poor Omar!  But being the gentleman that he is, he joined Angela at the hospital to welcome a new life into this world. A baby was born, and a very eventful 1st date was shared with a bouncing baby nephew. I’m sure cutting an umbilical cord and sharing a new life was not on the agenda and it may not sound like the ideal date, but it was theirs.  Angela must have been a rock star of a labor coach because after only dating for 1 month Omar professed his  love for Angela by proposing to her and of course she accepted.  Shortly after their wedding day, Omar was deployed and they spent the 1st year of their marriage communicating through letters, and phone calls that were never long enough.

 

Angela and Omar have reached their 10 year mark in love and marriage and chose to document their milestone with a photoshoot.  I am honored and happy that I got to spend the day doing what I love…documenting life, love and moments that matter.

 

Here are some moments that will last Angela and Omar a lifetime!

Sara is always a behind the scenes kind of gal.  Being that she is a hair and make-up artist, she is very familiar with prepping for photoshoots, but has never actually been in front of the camera.  The thought made her nerves rattle and I convinced her how fabulous she was going to be.  The proof is in the pudding!  Sara is GORGEOUS and I have the pictures to prove it!  Internet meet Sara!

 

Sara was undecided on how to celebrate her 20th Birthday, of course I suggested a photoshoot!  I love my ideas:)

Irvine, California Wedding- Eddie & Perla

A couple of months ago, I had the opportunity to work with and assist Elizabeth Luna. It was a great honor for me because I was actually a student at  Elizabeth’s wedding workshop that she had exactly one year ago.  Since then we have become great friends and I adore her love for photography and teaching.    Thank you to Elizabeth Luna of Elizabeth Luna Photography for having me assist her on this beautiful wedding!  Eddie and Perla made me smile the entire day!  Their hearts are filled with so much love!  I wishEddie and Perla the best of things in marriage. I am confident that you two will be a blessing to each other and those who you meet along your journey.

These girls are such a joy to be around!  I seriously love hanging out with them and watching them dance and play, while their little sister follows and looks up to her big sisters.

Thank you soooooo much Faith, I’m glad I wasn’t there for the shoot it was nice to get to see these done it was a gift in it’s self. Beautiful work, and yes you will be seeing a lot of my girls in 2012.
